Double Lumen Cuffed Lifecath Catheter

Lifecath Biflux is a fully radiopaque double-lumen silicone catheter with a subcutaneous cuff for long-term venous access (parenteral nutrition, drug administration, chemotherapy). Lifecath Biflux can be inserted by surgical technique (catheter only) or percutaneous puncture (kit with peelable introducer).

• 1 additional fixation wing (only available for 7 Fr and 9 Fr catheters)
• 2 injection caps

Notes: The additional flexion wings supplied with the 7 Fr and 9 Fr catheters are used only for the first 2–3 weeks, which is the time required for the subcutaneous tissues to colonize the cuff and secure the catheter.

Notes: Silicone catheters with subcutaneous cuffs for long-term venous access are also available with single lumen (codes 2191 and 2193) or triple lumens (code 2224.100).
