It is a completely radiopaque venous umbilical catheter with Expert technology, containing AgION™ antimicrobial agent consisting of silver ions integrated into the catheter wall.
The Expert catheter releases silver ions from its inner and outer surfaces and thus provides both intra- and extra-lumen protection.
Since silver ions are sensitive to light (photoreactive), the catheter is presented in a green protective tube.
Extension lines: distal (8 cm), proximal (10 cm) and clamped.
Code 8272.420: depth markings are located every centimeter from 4–20 cm from the distal end.
Codes 8272.440 and 8272.540: depth markings are located every centimeter from 4–25 cm from the distal end.
