Nutriline Twinflo

Nutriline Twinflo is a 2 Fr polyurethane double lumen central venous catheter for premature babies and newborns, placed in a peripheral vein (basilic, cephalic, saphenous, etc.).

It is especially recommended for medium- and long-term IV treatments and simultaneous administration of incompatible drugs.

Nutriline Twinflo; After successful cannulation of the vessel, the intervention needle is inserted with a 20 G peelable plastic cannula (Microflash) with a lateral eye to easily visualize the backflow of blood. The peelable cannula is completely removed after the catheter is placed.

It is supplied with Grip-Lok, a hypoallergenic adhesive specially designed for catheter stabilization in newborns.

The catheter is supplied with a measuring tape for placement in the lower third of the superior vena cava from the intervention site.
