It is made of radiopaque and transparent PVC.
There are depth markings every centimeter from 4 to 25 cm from the distal end.
The catheter can be used for venous access (parenteral nutrition, drug administration, exchange transfusion, etc.) or arterial access (blood gas analysis, arterial pressure measurement).
It has an open and flattened distal end to reduce vascular trauma.
