Leaderflex 18G

Leaderflex is a polyurethane pediatric central venous catheter placed using the Seldinger technique. It can also be used for arterial puncture (radial, femoral…) for children or adults.

Leaderflex comes in a hard blister pack and contains:

• 1 entry needle (in. 0.8 mm – out. 1.1 mm – 19G – length: 54 mm)
• 1 radiopaque catheter (inner Ø 0.8mm – outer Ø 1.2mm – 18G – 4Fr, code 1213.06 for 6cm length and 1213.10 for 10cm length)
• Proximal hub has fixing wings and female Luer-lock connection
• 1 external straight guide wire with flexible distal tip. Ø 0.7mm, 20cm long for code 1213.06 and 30cm long for code 1213.10
