F&P 950 System – Pediatric Use

The pediatric population faces a variety of unique challenges during infancy and childhood. Since they have limited thermoregulation capacity compared to adults, heated and humidified respiratory support; It is critical to save energy, support natural defense mechanisms, and increase patient comfort and treatment tolerance.

The following information relates to the F&P 950 pediatric-specific circuits. Healthcare professionals can also use a combination of adult and neonatal circuits to treat pediatric patients on the F&P 950 System. For more information, contact your local F&P sales representative.

When the pediatric circuit is connected to the F&P 950 System; Supports therapy delivery in user-selectable invasive, mask or Optiflow™ (nasal high flow) modes.

Invasive mode
Invasive mode is designed for patients whose upper airway has been bypassed with an endotracheal or tracheostomy tube.
