Coloplast Vortek Tumor Stent

Coloplast Vortek Tumor Stent is a ureteral stent with high resistance to compression, specially developed for cases of ureteric stenosis and tumor pressure. It offers a permanence period of up to 12 months, is MRI compatible and provides a reliable solution by providing uninterrupted drainage even under external pressure.

Reinforced Inner Layer: The reinforced internal structure compared to standard Vortek stents helps prevent crushing against external pressure caused by tumor or stricture.

Compression Resistance: Thanks to its special material structure, it facilitates passage through difficult stenosis and ensures that the stent channel remains open.

Special Design: In order to reduce tumor-induced flow obstructions, an eyeless (holeless) design was used in the flat segment.

Comprehensive Kit Content: Supplied as a set with a steerable pusher and a 0.035” Terumo® hydrophilic nitinol guidewire for precise placement under fluoroscopy.

Viewing Support: Thanks to the radiopaque ring on the pusher tip, positioning can be clearly monitored during the procedure.

Sterility and Safety: It is offered in single sterile packages and provides high biocompatibility.
